Not a celebrity, who has to worry about paparazzi stalking her every move, but famous. I want to be invited to high profile events like correspondents dinners at the White House and galas thrown to raise money for charities.

I want to be the woman so good at her job in the magazine industry that her name becomes synonymous with ‘power’. I want travel, both for work related things and for pleasure. I want to photograph people in the streets of India and teach kids who don’t have much, the significance of the imagination.

I want wearing fashionable clothes to be second nature and to answer “It’s definitely tough at times, but we make it work” every time someone asks me just how me and my equally high-profile husband make our marriage work.

I believe achieving all that is possible. I just can’t figure out how to get there.
