Is it cool to want to hug a computer screen just because a really cute boy kept his promise, went above and beyond and made your life easier by sending you (via e-mail) something you weren’t expecting for at least two more days?

To the person who is in charge of my life, please listen up…

I’m 20, going on 21 and don’t have any trace of a love life. I get that Darren Criss and I will not happen and I’m okay with not being with Mr.Brown Eyes, Burgundy Pants. But please, PLEASE make something positive happen between me and that cute boy at work. He dresses nicely, has a really nice smile and listens to hip-hop. PLEASE, oh please. One date, at least. I’ll also try really hard to not let it affect my work.  If I wear another cute outfit next Wednesday you’ll make something happen right? He’ll make a joke, I’ll laugh and say something clever back. He’ll smile and then-BOOM-married with babies*. I mean—what? No. He’ll smile and somehow a conversation will happen that will last and will be magical and in three weeks he’ll ask me for my number, and we’ll go on my first date in four. Cool? We’re on the same page?

*I’m not that serious about him. Barely even know him. Nay, don’t even know him. I just want to hold hands and go see a movie. I am THAT girl.
