So Many Lovely and Not So Lovely Things

I had a great day at my internship Friday. Overall the experience has been a solid B-. I learn but it’s not as exciting as I thought it would be but yesterday was spectacular. I got to come up with ideas for a layout (Will they be used? Who cares?! I got to test it out anyway!), edit the cover  AND the head honcho in charge told me I was a really good intern.

I consider it a win despite the fact I had to stay and hour extra again.

I then come home to find that my suitemate has been bitchy to her roommate (I’ve been receiving rants via text all week).  Girl has crossed a line now, picking on her roommate for the stupidest things.

“You didn’t turn the faucet in the bathtub all the way.”

“Oh sorry. I turned it as far as I could”

“*Goes away then comes back.* Well, I was able to turn it a bit more so I guess you didn’t try hard enough.”

I’d like to state for the record that the faucet is never turned all the way. Ever. No matter who uses it. Went to the bathroom this morning to find that the faucet wasn’t turned all the way—OH AND HEY, GUESS WHAT— it’s the sutiemate’s fault because she was the last to shower last night and her roommate is not even here.

Thank goodness for parents who give great advice that I can pass along to frustrated roommates. I want things to finally exploded so issues can get resolved. I love drama, LOVE IT, but it’s unhealthy and when it frustrates people I care about, it needs to end.

Today I plan to do HW but that involves a trip to my favorite museum, buying colorful bubble gum, researching beer and fun things like that.

I have found happiness in art school for one weekend and I’m holding on to it for dear life.
